Eclipse Fan Event, Rome

Am i the only person whose twitter broke? I swear it cut off right as the pictures of this event started to come in. That's Twitter for you...... reliable as always. Now on to this dress.

THIS my friends is how you rock a LBD. This particular dress is from the Marchesa Fall 2010 Collection. We knew she was going to wear Marchesa due to the fact they all but told us on Twitter but Marchesa is one of my label crushes, their designs are feminine, edgy and simply stunning. This is how you sum up this full look, stunning. I love the hair tied back, it tidies the whole look up and adds class. The dress stands alone, there's no need for any dramatic hair so the hair was perfect. Love the dramatic structure of the dress, it is youthful, sexy and elegant. She couldn't have picked a better look. The shoes some of you recognised she wore the same style of shoe to the BAFTAS in ivory. The shoes are by Roger Vivier and are a black satin version of the 'Sport chic' pump. A dramatic dress was exactly what this tour needed to kick the steeze up a notch. This promotion tour steeze is now officially rivaling the New Moon tour. I hope Kristen continues with the bold fashion statements.

Eclipse Press Conference, Rome

Today Kristen attended a press conference in Rome for Eclipse. I have many many thoughts on this outfit that I'd like to share. All in all i liked the look, it was cute and feminine and appropriate for a press conference and no matter what, Kristen gives good face.

Kristen wears a dress from the J.Mendel Fall 2010 collection line. I have many thoughts on this dress, om the positive i like it. The negative is the fit. Kristen's stylist seems to have some issue with actually fitting clothes to her so they perhaps fit a little nicer. Many of you may not notice but the bodice on this dress is too big for Kristen's petite frame. It sticks out to me and brings the outfit down. I love the mesh inserts in the dress but the whole look would be improved greatly if her stylist took the bodice in at the sides. My last complaint is 'where is the colour?'. It's been all blacks and darks on this press tour and whilst Kristen rocks it, we need a pop of colour or some feminine nudes. New Moon press tour is trumping this ones ass. Kristen's shoes are by Jimmy Choo and they are the 'Quiet' pumps. I'm like a Jimmy Choo master shoe spotter, there's something about those damn quiet pumps that i love. Kristen has also wore the glitter effect versions of these pumps in Korea and the black version to the Runaways L.A premiere. All in all a nice look but i can't wait to see what the evening look brings with it, hopefully something a little more fitting.

Eclipse Press Conference, Berlin

Kristen and Taylor attended a press conference for Eclipse today in Berlin. Due to Germany playing in the World Cup today there will be no German fan event unfortunately. After yesterdays dramatic look from Kristen she went for something a little more comfortable. As always i have lots of thoughts on this dress and look as a whole.

Kristen wore a Versace dress from the collection. First off lets talk Versace, if any of you follow me on Twitter you will know i have been screaming for Kristen's stylist to dress her in Versace. Why? It's Fall 2010 collection screams bright and edgy designs i feel Kristen could rock. This dress is not my favourite from the collection and i blame her stylist. Yes this look is nice but there are other dresses in the Fall collection that Kristen could have rocked so much better. I like the electric blue hues coming in through the dress but the gray dulls the dress down. The cut of the dress again isn't something i would personally choose for Kristen as it almost boxes her figure and the dress flattens the bust area. The dress is bunching up and creating an unflattering look the bust and stomach area and i feel this is due to the cut of the dress itself, the model on the catwalk has the same look. That being said the back of the dress was not photographed however it is rather phenomenal. The back is entirely electric blue and has an exposed zip all the way down the back. Kristen wears Camilla Skovgaard Ankle Boots with button up detailing. I do like these shoes with this dress, it compliments the whole modern look Kristen has going on here.

All in all did i like it? Yes. Did i love it? I'm not sure. The more i look at it the more i admire it, i still have an issue with the front fit but the back really ups the look as a whole Kristen looks fantastic. It's youthful, it's sexy and Kristen makes it work with her attitude alone.

P.S I'd like to see more electric blue on Kristen please, stylist take note.

Leaving Troubador

Kristen attended Bobby Longs gig a few days ago. I originally hadn’t planned to post this look due to the pap pictures floating around of Kristen looking really uncomfortable. This post has very few pictures from the actual night in it, I've only used pictures of Kristen's arrival at the Four Seasons hotel.

Kristen’s outfit was very casual, i love that she goes for comfort first. She wore some J Brand 912 low-rise pencil leg jeans which you can purchase here for $185. She paired her jeans with her favourite Market Milla Boyfriend Tee in grey, you can purchase this tee here for $37. If purchasing the tee I'd go for either true size or a size smaller because the tee itself is very loose. She finished the look off nicely with her Keds Champion Not Too Shabby Laceless Twill Sneakers in Taupe which can be purchased here for $50.

Again another great casual look from Kristen, they are probably my favourite looks to blog.

Eclipse Premiere, L.A

Tonight was the premiere of Eclipse in L.A where Kristen and the rest of the cast attended. A big event and the excitement has been building for days on who will be the lucky designer to dress Kristen. One of the biggest actresses right now and one of the hottest movies for the summer......

Let's talk about the look in general. First of all i liked that she chose to wear her hair up and her make up as always was flawless. The updo made the outfit more classy and enabled her to show off the fantastic detailing on her dress.

Kristen wore a dress by Elie Saab and it comes from their Fall 2009 Couture collection. My thoughts on the dress? It was different and i liked that she took a risk. I'm still unsure as to why she chose a dress from a 2009 but the dress cut and detailing was pretty stunning and it fit Kristen well. Her back *ahem specifically her butt* was looking fantastic. Her shoes are by Christian Louboutin and are the Big Lips 120 suede pumps. Again another pair of shoes i was hoping to see Kristen wear! I loved this look, even if you aren't a fan of the dress she took a risk. She stood out, she was confident and she worked the red carpet. I'm proud and i personally feel Kristen was every inch the leading lady on that carpet tonight.
